Community Involvement

Bartlett Brainard Eacott has been an ardent supporter of the local community and organizations that benefit growth and development within the construction industry. Our outstanding people provide outstanding results, in construction and in the community.

Roots in the Community:

BBE has made significant and far-reaching impacts on our communities by making direct contributions and by dedicating personal commitment and time to charities and institutions. Our commitment to helping is a part of our culture and we have proudly supported organizations including these and many others:

  • Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
  • Make-A-Wish Foundation
  • Greater Hartford YMCA
  • Junior Achievement of Southeast New England
  • Hartford Foundation for Public Giving
  • Connecticut Children’s Medical Center (our Safety Director hosts an annual Christmas “Stuff the Truck”, which has grown to deliver hundreds of gifts and donations)

We believe in going beyond the role of a traditional contractor. For years, BBE has reached out to hire local employees who might not otherwise have had the opportunity to join the construction workforce and build a career.

Roots in Industry:

Our community also includes our industry and we understand the value in supporting it.

  • Beginning in 1947, BBE was instrumental in forming the Associated General Contractors of Connecticut, where we are the only company to have had four Presidents.
  • In 1975, we helped form The Construction Institute at the University of Hartford, where our employees to this day have strong relationships training and mentoring students and promoting excellence in construction.
  • Many of our leaders have also served on multiple building committees, boards of governors, university industry advisory boards and in many trade organizations, all of which help build a stronger construction industry.
Bartlett Brainard Eacott, Inc. is an Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
